Join us as we relive that great moment 45 years ago this November as we kick off this weekend celebration of DOCTOR WHO!

The 2007 Christmas special starring world-reknowned singer Kylie Monogue comes to the Who-Net room, along with the Children-in-Need prologue, "Time Crash" guest-starring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor!

...and then welcomed her back with open arms nearly thirty years later in the new series, although the reunion with the Doctor turned bittersweet...

9:00 AM DOCTOR WHO with Jon Pertwee: "The Time Warrior"

The newly remastered DVD release with new SFX (done with the blessing of classic DW producer Barry Letts!). The Doctor, with the help of new companion Sarah Jane Smith (Elizabeth Sladen), uncovers a plot that spans the centuries as an alien invader seeks to hand 20th Century technology and weapons over to a brutal medieval warlord. Meet the Sontarans for the first time!
11:00 AM DOCTOR WHO with David Tennant: "The Sontaran Stratagem" and "The Poisoned Sky" UNCUT!
(1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: PG)
The Sontarans come roaring back with a vengeance when the Doctor and Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) unite with Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman) and UNIT to uncover the mystery of the time warriors' seemingly nonsensical attack on Earth. After too long a time, UNIT is back!
12:30 PM DOCTOR WHO with Sylvester McCoy: "Silver Nemesis"

The Doctor and Ace find themselves up to their necks in leftover Nazis, medieval time-traveling sorceresses and their serfs, deadly artifacts, and, oh, yeah... Cybermen!

Mark Dooley. Cowboy up, you trivia experts! Cool prizes and vast shanks of learning are in store for those who can challenge De Boss' amazing trivia prowess!
3:00 PM WHOOSIER NETWORK PANEL: COMPANIONS
(1 Hour - Rating: G)
Mark Dooley, Stephen Kendall. Obviously, we're gonna talk about the Doctor's second wheels, particularly the most recent. It's run the gammit in a short four years, from shopgirls to omnisexual time agents to doctors (MEDICAL doctors, that is) to office temps. Who do you think has served the TARDIS best over 45 years?
4:00 PM DOCTOR WHO with Tom Baker: "Robot"
(2 Hours, 30 Minutes - Rating: G)
The Brits were in mourning at the end of Planet of the Spiders... who could possibly replace the dashing Jon Pertwee as the Doctor, and who was this young curly-haired upstart who regenerated in his place? The Whoniverse was on the brink of a new dawn as the Fourth Doctor launched himself into an investigation of a fascist society that has employed a giant robot to do its dirty work! Followed by the excellent documentary on Tom's first episode, "Are Friends Electric?"
6:30 PM DOCTOR WHO with Patrick Troughton: "The Seeds of Death"
(2 Hours, 30 Minutes - Rating: G)
No DW celebration would be complete without an episode of the second Doctor, and this is one of his best, featuring the much-neglected Ice Warriors of Mars!
9:00 PM DOCTOR WHO with David Tennant: "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead"
(1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: PG)
If you want a glimpse of what a Steven Moffat-run Doctor Who will be like in 2010, this is a pretty good choice. Alex Kingston (E.R.) guest-stars as the Doctor and Donna arrive at "The Library", a planet-sized repository of all the books in the universe. But where are the readers? What unspeakable monstrosity lurks in the shadows? How does an arriving archaeologist know so much about the Doctor? And why does all of this exist only in a young girls' mind?
10:30 PM DOCTOR WHO with Jon Pertwee: "Doctor Who and the Silurians"
(2 Hours - Rating: G)
Completely remastered by the by BBC Restoration team! The Third Doctor's second episode has never looked better as he encounters the ancient Earth-race, the Silurians! Awakened after a million years liedown, they have returned to reclaim mastery over the Earth!
Sunday, July 6th
9:00 AM DOCTOR WHO with Colin Baker: "Mark of the Rani"
(1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: G)
The cantankerous Sixth Doctor and Peri discover that someone is trying to sabotage the dawn of the machine age... the Time Lady known as the Rani! And just to put some stank in it, enter the Master...
10:30 AM DOCTOR WHO with David Tennant: "Midnight"
(1 Hour - Rating: G)
The Doctor and Donna visit the leisure planet Midnight, with its golden spas, diamond landscapes and anti-gravity restaurants. But when the knocking on the wall begins, Sky Silvestry (the only person who seems to understand) challenges the Doctor to make a sacrifice...
11:30 AM DOCTOR WHO with David Tennant: "Turn Left"
(1 Hour - Rating: G)
Attending a carnival on the "Chino-planet of Shan Shen" exposes the Doctor and Donna to flags, pagodas and local colour, but when Donna visits a fortune teller her fortune begins to change ... retroactively, and decidedly not for the better. Guest stars Billie Piper as Rose Tyler.

And I'm just too old and too worn out putting this schedule together to mess with you. Just get ready for unexpected allies, enemies, and possibly the most shocking ending of any Doctor Who series ever! Man up, Whovians and Whoosiers, this one'll be like playing with Nitro Nine!
