Gaming Schedule


In the Game Room: Aside from scheduled events, there is open gaming throughout the convention, with card and board games available, and Steve Jackson Games "Men in Black" may show up for random Munchkin, "Chez" games and other surprises. Check with Gaming HQ frequently for schedule updates.

 

Witness the birth of a Game: Check with the Game Room for test-sessions of Siege, a new strategy game being developed by Brian Davidson.

 

Friday, July 6

In Gunner’s Garrison: Open gaming, kids’ activities, X-Box and Wii, Munchkin, Settlers of Cattan and various versions of Risk throughout the day. Other events in this area will be marked  with (GG), all other events are in Game Room.

2 p.m. — Apples to Apples (GG)

Popular "getting to know you" game.

2 p.m. — WWII Micro Armor (GG)

Miniatures battles on the Eastern Front

4 p.m. — Pirates: 50 pt. Multiplayer Tournament, GM: Mark Fewell

WizKids Pirates miniatures using multiplayer rules.

4 p.m. —  Rockin’ Thulhu, GM:  Bill Barton

A "Rock Star" RPG written and run by William A. Barton, game author for systems including Call of Cthulhu and GURPS.

5 p.m. — Star Wars: Escape from the Death Star, GM: John Belden

The ORIGINAL all-ages board game from 1977. Spin the spinner and move your pieces to reenact the adventure of the first Star Wars film. Medal will be awarded to the winner during Sunday ceremony. Letting the Wookiee win optional.

5 p.m. — Hollow Earth Expedition RPG Demo: Embrace of the Zombie, GM: Shawn Hilton

You are a member of the Zeitgeist Film Company filming what will surely be the greatest movie of all time, "Embrace of the Zombie" on location in Haiti. You and up to five other players will take on the parts of the film crew in 1936 filming this marvelous work, and while you are at it you’ll learn how to play Hollow Earth Expedition, the roleplaying game from Exile Games (Exilegames.com). During this two-hour demo, all rules will be taught and all materials are provided. Did we mention the Nazis and Dinosaurs?

6 p.m. — HERO System: Shonen HERO, GM: Greg Hurst

Shonen Hero combines all the best cliches of anime, wuxia and other Asian-themed media. The Dragon King has summoned the greatest fighters in the land to prove who is the most powerful. Heroes will need all their spirit energy to overcome impossible odds against Oni, Hengeyokai and more. Beginners to role-playing and HERO are welcome.

6 p.m. — Legend of the Five Rings demo, GM: David McIninch

10 p.m. — HERO System: Dark Days, GM: Greg Hurst

For 400 years Vampires, Demons, and Werewolves have ruled our world, keeping humans as a slaves. That hasn't stopped small enclaves of mortals from developing advanced science and arcane techniques to revolt against this Triumverate of Evil. You are a seasoned mercenary hired to squash the feeble human resistance. Beginners to role-playing and HERO are welcome. Note: Mature content.

10 p.m. — Ghoul, Fatal Addiction: Final Trials, GM: TammyJo Eckhart

For those who played last year, this is the same group of Ghouls but 10 years later. They have more power and ability, but are still ghouls. If you want to play the same character please send an email to thetammyjo@gmail.com. The first half-hour will be for getting into your character and receiving "secret knowledge". Characters will be pre-designed and fairly complex - be prepared to act and interact beginning at 10:30pm! If you have a deep desire to learn about the characters ahead of time, feel free to email the Storyteller, however character sheets will be given on a first-come first-chose basis the evening of the game.

Game is based on the "Vampire: The Masquerade" RPG system. For ten years you have proven your value and worth to your Kindred domitors. They seem pleased, and yet there are things they just do not share with you. Secret meetings, details about their pasts, and plans for the future are either not discussed or only vaguely so. Recently they have all taken on new servants as well. Maybe you should feel a bit nervous? A week ago each one of your masters or mistresses left the City, leaving you behind to deal with a few mundane matters. They have not returned as promised and you are starting to get very worried as younger Kindred begin making moves to take over the City and other ghouls began to question your authority. Can you investigate your domitors' secrets and figure out what has happened to them before it is too late? Note: Mature content.

10 a.m. — Battletech Gunslinger (GG)

Self-design event.

10 a.m. — Call of Cthulhu: Cthulhu vs. Godzilla, GM: Bill Barton

In a modern-day scenario, a group of Investigators join a Miskatonic University expedition to the South Pacific to find a legendary monster that has devastated Japan over the past 50 years. But they find that another horror is rising now that the stars are right . . . Player Investigators include Carl Kolchak, Fox Mulder, and other TV characters.

Easy custom strategy game, which appeared last year as MAD, now much improved. Design your units to build, mine and fight in the field.

Noon — HeroClix: "Snow in July" 400 pt. tournament, GM: Mark Fewell

WizKids HeroClix miniatures game. All characters can throw snowballs, with a base range of 6, which cant’ be modified. A success puts a token on a character. After a successful attack roll a d6; snowball has ice for 3 damage on a 5 or 6.

Noon — Legend of the Five Rings, GM: David McIninch

Standard L5R card game tournament, open to all InConJunction attendees with no additional fee.

Noon — Pirates: 40 pt. tournament, GM: Mark Fewell

WizKids Pirates miniatures game. Extra ships will be available for use.

4 p.m. — MechWarrior: 600 pt. tournament, GM: Mark Fewell

5 p.m. — Hollow Earth Expedition RPG: The Thule Death Ray, GM: Shawn Hilton

The year is 1936 and you’ve been summoned to Arkham, Massachusetts, where you learn of an incredible device that may be used by nefarious forces to bring about the end of democracy as we know it. A whirlwind adventure full of action featuring Exile Games’ Ubiquity System, this is a Hollow Earth Expedition game that takes place on the surface world using a full-flavored pulp-style scenario that won’t stop until you drop.

6 p.m. — Call of Cthulhu: The Horror on the Commons, GM: Bill Barton

In the 1890s, something has crashed to earth south of London, leaving a steaming pit in the commons, from which glows an eerie, unnatural . . . colour. Is it just a meteor cooling off, or something more sinister? M, of the British Secret Service, calls on the investigators, including some familiar characters, to evaluate any potential threat to England.

6 p.m. — Star Wars: Pocket Model Trading Card Game tournament, GM: Mark Fewell

Try the latest game from WizKids Games. Standard tournament rules, with 600-point armies.

8 p.m. — HeroClix: 300 pt. tournament, GM: Mark Fewell

10 a.m. — Hollow Earth Expedition RPG: The Olympic Affair, GM: Shawn Hilton

Originally designed as a live-action event for the Cthulhu Masters, you get the first chance to check out "The Olympic Affair" before it hits GenCon 2007. Houdini, Doyle, Molly Brown, W.B. Yeats, Walter Winchel/Louella Parsons, and some other guy are all involved in a strange affair aboard the Titanic’s sister ship, the Olympic. What happens in the Atlantic STAYS in the Atlantic — unless its evil grip reaches land first!

You must sign-up to run your game prior to the convention to receive full or partial reimbursment of your convention admission.
