Eric Flint

Author Guest of Honor

We are proud to have Eric Flint with us this year at InConJunction. He is the author of such titles as The Wizard of Karres, 1634: The Galileo Affair, The Grantville GazetteSeries, Ring of Fire, Future Imperfectand The Philosophical Strangler just to name a few.

Eric’s writing career took off in 1993 when one of his short stories entitled Entropy, and the Strangler was published. That story won first place in the winter 1992 Writers of the Future contest. The story was published in the 1993 anthology, which the contest puts out on an annual basis.

Eric has been writing on and off for years, but didn’t decide to work seriously as an author until 1992. At that point he was 45 years old, and realized that if he was ever going to write seriously, there was no better time to get started.

Currently, Eric is working on a variety of projects. He is working on 4 major series, as well as editing many projects. We are surprised and very pleased he found time to be here with us this weekend.

If you have visited Eric’s website you know that he is also a collector of Native American artwork. You might run into him in the art show at the convention.

For additional information, please refer to Eric Flint's Web Page.
