Anime Room


InConJunction's Anime Room is known for its wide variety of animated Japanese movies, series and shorts. The Anime Room runs nearly all hours of the convention. The schedule is geared towards family audiences during the day, and adult audiences during the night.

The Anime Room staff always welcomes suggestions and movie referrals. An honest effort is made to research all suggestions and judge the suitability of each request. Studio representatives should make contact via one of the methods below to schedule screenings of their films or videos.

Friday, July 4th
12:00 PM Beast Wars # 1 (2 Hours, 20 Minutes - Rating: TV-G)
If you like Transformers, you?re going to love Beast Wars! The Predacons, led by Megatron, are fleeing through space with a Golden Disk as the Maximals, led by Optimus, pursue. They crash on an unknown planet rich in energon and powerful enough to fuel galactic conquest. Because of the energon fields, each side adopts beast modes to protect its robot forms. And so the battle for the planet begins!
2:15 PM Transformers Season 1 #1 (2 Hours - Rating: TV-G)
Earth is the battleground, control of the universe is the prize, and the only defense is an army of Autobots able to transform into massive fighting machines as powerful as their enemy - the deadly Decepticons.
4:15 PM Bubblegum Crisis 2040 # 1 (1 Hour, 40 Minutes - Rating: PG-13)
All New! In the aftermath of the great earthquake, one ruthless corporation stands ready to take over the devastated city of Tokyo with an army of synthetic monsters. Only one small band of female mercenaries is ready to stand against the monolithic power of Genom, but in this case four women are all it takes!

When a terrorist unleashes a deadly biological virus in the heart of the city, he earns the galaxy's highest price on his head. Naturally Spike, Jet, Faye, and Ed can't resist hunting him down, but this brutal killer may be more than the Bebop crew can handle!
8:30 PM Devil Hunter Yohko # 1 (1 Hour, 45 Minutes - Rating: PG-13)
Yohko Mano just turned sixteen, and the boy she's crazy about doesn't know she exists. Now, her loony grandmother has dropped a new bombshell. Yohko is the 108th generation of a family of professional devil hunters - and she's stuck with the job whether she likes it or not!

3:45 AM Otaku No Video (1 Hour, 40 Minutes - Rating: PG-13)
This is Gainax having a good deal of fun at their own expense. It details a "fictional" company and its meteoric rise intercut with pseudo interviews. It's way more fun than it has any right to be, and at other times, almost touching. A great film for anyone who's stayed up all night watching films they can't understand.

As the Tendo family prepares for Christmas, Ranma goes missing. A routine search brings in the usual troublemakers, but still no Ranma. Will Akane find Ranma in time to spend Christmas with him?
8:45 AM Sailor Moon: The Movie S (1 Hour - Rating: TV-G)
It's Christmas vacation, and time for the shuttle to launch into space. Unfortunately, an unnatural ice storm has struck the city and it's up to our heroines to find the cause. That is, if they weren't trying to find Luna. Ah, love... even Luna has caught the bug and has become a smitten kitten when she is saved by a kind astronomer. Fallen in love with a man? Poor Artemis
9:45 AM Tenchi Muyo: The Movie (1 Hour, 35 Minutes - Rating: PG)
"Kain is free ... and he's out playing with the flow of time! Seems that Tenchi is involved in a sort of time paradox: in the present, Tenchi doesn't exist! Click for more!
11:15 AM Titan A.E. (1 Hour, 35 Minutes - Rating: PG)
One thousand years from now, aliens destroy Earth in fear of the Titan project. Some humans escape, becoming a downtrodden Diaspora, living in impoverished settlements. The mysterious Titan spacecraft also escapes, and its inventor has hidden it before dying. A spacecraft captain and its pilot, Korso and Akima, two humans, seek out Cale, the youthful son of the dead scientist and explain that he must help them find the Titan, which holds a mechanism to unite and save humanity. Cale refuses, but the arrival of the killer aliens persuades him to join Korso. Can he avoid his pursuers, know friend from foe, find the Titan, and embrace his humanity, a nature he has despised until now?
12:45 PM Vampire Princess Miyu OVA # 1 (50 Minutes - Rating: PG)
As the demonic forces of the Shinma strive to obtain a foothold upon the mortal plane, spiritualist Himiko seeks the truth. 7:45 PM Animatrix (1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: PG-13)
This mind-bending series of nine short films deeply rooted in the world of The Matrix is an eclectic blend of CGI and Japanese Anime, fusing the creative vision of Larry and Andy Wachowski with the inspired artistry of some of the most revered and exciting talent of the anime world.

With a cast that should be institutionalized, this show will make you laugh, make you cry, and definitely make you question your sanity

The Bad Girl Returns! Naomi Armitage and Ross Sylibus have changed their names and live happily on Mars - until a robot riot breaks out on Earth.
