Kimberly Richey

Science Guest of Honor

Stand back, Kimberly is going to do SCIENCE!!!

Stand back, Kimberly is going to do SCIENCE!!! For over ten years Kimberly has worked in the agroscience industry testing samples ensuring the regulatory compliance of genetically modified crops. She has worked with multiple nations to achieve the high safety standards required of GMO products. Kimberly serves as a Science Ambassador; working to bring science to local communities with hands on workshops for students ranging from kindergarten through college. She mentors parents and students concerning educational options to help students make informed choices concerning their future with STEM. The Science Ambassadors consulted with the Indianapolis Children%u2019s Museum concerning the redesign of the Science Zone. When not adulting, Kimberly enjoys wearing fun socks and riding her bicycle around town. She is the co-founder of the Darby Dog Rescue Center, giving a loving forever home to well-worn, but still adorable, plush animals. Kim has been attending InCon since 2005 and has since become a costumer, building and wearing giant creature suits, such as the fondly remembered PEACHES!!!.
